Most of the time, Ronnie would hole up in her room, trying to avoid her mother. Without her father there to keep her mother in check, it was almost impossible for her to breathe. This was probably due to the fact that Eddie had also grown up with an overbearing mother.īy the time she was sixteen, Ronnie couldn’t stand having her father leave her on his work trips. One could say her relationship with her father was much closer and healthier than that of her mothers. Controlling how she sat, how she spoke, even how much she ate. ![]() Beyond that, her mother had taken a sharp turn in personality when her father was away. And he could be away for months at a time.īy the time she was 12, she didn’t really have any friends, and that was mostly the fault of her mother. That meant that Ronnie had little freedom when he was away. ![]() When her father was away on long work trips, she became more controlling and kept her close to home. Her mother was kind and loving, but she tended to be overbearing. Her relationship with her parents was a complex one. People tended to attribute that to the fact that she had grown up loved and nurtured. Although she was shy, she had an aura of confidence that seemed to surround her. Always the top of her class and knowing too much for her own good. She was a good kid and well-liked by many peers. Whether it be having an asthma attack shortly before a school presentation, or dealing with her over-protective mother while her father was away on work business, something always seemed to happen to Ronnie. It’s just that she often seemed to find herself in unfortunate situations. Trouble was something that always seemed to follow the two. The same tousled shade of brown hair, dark honey brown eyes, and a mischievous grin. Sharing his complexion and similar facial features, they even looked like each other. She had his same hyperactive personality, tendency to run her mouth off, and was a hypochondriac who had asthma. Veronica, better known as Ronnie, was a mirror image of her father. They had one daughter together, Veronica May Kaspbrak, whom they loved very much. Before they had graduated, she had found out that she was pregnant. He grew up in a small town in rural Maine, went to college, got a boring job at an insurance company, and married a woman, creating the perfect cookie-cutter family image. To say that Eddie Kaspbrak was a boring person was a bit of an understatement. Trigger Warnings: Eating disorders, emotional manipulation, toxic marriage, general sadness. A/N: Hi everybody!
