It was randomly generated but gave you precise controls if you wanted - silly stuff like a chupacabra approaching him for a bake sale, and stealing his wallet as he went to pay for a pie or something. Every one started off with "I tell you hwat, this one time.". There was one app where it was some old guy rambling stories about monsters. I saw my neighbor pretend to drink beer with it and my mind was blown. Your screen would fill with the drink, and as you tilted it would filter out. There was also one that simulated beer or soda and had a few different kinds with IAP. My best friend and I would play Russian roulette with it. There was a revolver simulator one that let you select which chambers you loaded, spin the chamber, and snap to load it - and it had a few different revolvers. There are a bunch of other old apps that I loved that I don't remember the name of. Dev hasn't updated it in years, but they have recently released some kind of religious app. Cool slot machine-based combat, interesting story, zombie crew. Always killed my battery but I loved it anyway. Everything is over-the-top and it just has so many strange pop culture references. Fun little zombie sim, you take over the world. I don't like the relaunch as much but it's still a charming little gem. I remember reading about someone whose (grand?)parent wouldn't let them play because iPhone warranties "are based on taps" lmao. As far as I know this is still around, cute and well-liked. I've loved every one of the releases, and Bloons TD 5 is still regularly updated. I was really happy to see this was updated for 64 bit support. You'd lead your zombie army against Farmer Greg or whoever. Like farmville, but with zombies and plants. Game died years and years ago, sequel sucks. I held onto them because I found them pretty neat. Eventually they had SO MUCH product placement that activated as consumable items for you to recharge or boost earnings, whether it was for cars, movies, TV shows, etc. Kinda like foursquare, you "owned" businesses near you and ranked them up. I think they made a sequel which was active a few years ago. Android recently got a good Super Quickhook port though. The dev is still active (RocketCat Games, makes Death Road to Canada, Wayward Souls, Punch Quest, Mage Gauntlet) but these games have been neglected for years. Truly one of the best early days iOS games. Quickhook, Quickhook 2, Super Quickhook, Hook Worlds. It's been continued (now on Cartoon Wars 3) but it's now gacha-style for units and the quality just isn't there. Shortly after though the dev got bought out by Glu and they pushed really aggressive microtransactions. This subreddit is not endorsed or sponsored by Apple Inc.
